Biography

Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Don Prioleau served over 23 years of active military service in the U.S. Army as a Signal Officer. He held numerous positions of leadership with the responsibility of training and mentorship of subordinate Solders. His assignments include tours in the Republic of Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Fort Bragg, Fort Monmouth, and the Pentagon.  

Awards and decorations presented include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Senior Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault Badge. 

Donald is from Sumter, South Carolina and graduated from South Carolina State University with a degree in Business Economics. He is married to the former Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) La’Ketha Hampton and has two children. Malik (25) is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and La’Donia (15) is presently in 9th grade at Patriot High School.
