Director of Army Programs


Charles “Chuck” Heimann, Colonel (retired), served over 29 years in the United States Army from May 1987 thru October 2016.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications. He served as a Signal Officer in units from tactical through strategic echelons, including the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Joint Communications Support Element (Airborne), 1st Armored Division, 4th Infantry Division, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), United States Army Pacific, United States Central Command, and Headquarters, Department of the Army. Chuck ranked among the top in every position in which he served.  With deployments to Operation Southern Watch (Saudi Arabia), Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) with Ross, and Operation New Dawn (Iraq), Chuck oversaw the fielding, innovation, engineering, installation, security, and management of critical communications in some of the most austere environments possible.  

In 2016, COL Heimann and his wife retired and settled in Sterling, Virginia. Since retirement, Chuck worked with NES Associates for one year as Director, Strategic Operations, Enterprise Services and Cyber Operations. In July 2017, an opportunity presented itself with CORVUS Group in support of Headquarters, Department of the Army G-3/5/7-Cyber Directorate, in which Chuck worked to bring Phase II, Staffing and Contracting (P2SC) its first sub-contract and kick starting the company onto its current path and propelling it into future endeavors.

As the Director, Army Programs, Chuck provides strategic analysis, planning, consulting, mentorship, and leadership to P2SC clients, as well as, helping and guiding “Veterans and their Family Members find their version of Success in this, the Second Phase of their life.”
Chuck and his wife Gretchen have two children: Shiloh – 26, and Scott, 24, and live with their four dogs: Sigo, Kona, Mac, and Bulleit. Chuck is a Life Member of the: American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Armed Forces Communications an Electronics Association (AFCEA), 101st Airborne Association, and Signal Corps Regimental Association (SCRA).
